For Sale Icon 917K 001

I have decided to sell my personal Icon 917K, chassis 001.

The primary reason is to finance building a twin turbo 917L.

Key features of Chassis 001:

Body panels came from moulds taken from the original Porsche 917 No 10, so visually correct.

Passed the UK IVA  Test 23rd July 2019, after 8 years of detailed engineering and CAE work.

Registered as a new build  by the DVLA 1st September 2019 EU69-FEG. Now with personnel plate JMA 917K

Fully road legal in UK, and has passed 3 MOT tests in September 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Will come with new 12 month MOT once sold.

Approx 8200miles with 6700 on UK roads, and 800 in France driving to the 2023 Le Mans Classic, and approx. 700 on track.

Porsche 964 3.6L Air cooled engine producing 270bhp at approx. 6800rpm. Transmission is via an inverted Porsche G50.

Weight 920Kg with 65 Litres fuel and 15 litres of oil.

Chassis, suspension, and magnesium rims are very accurate recreations of the originals.

Has appeared in several magazine articles, Octane, 911 & Porsche World, GT Porsche etc.

Used by Goodwood FOS atop of the 2018 Porsche 70th Anniversary Central Feature.
